School Uniform

The Whitehouse Common Primary School Uniform Comprises of:

- Emerald green sweatshirt
- White polo shirt
- Grey trousers
- Grey skirt
- Green and white check or striped dress (summer optional)
- Grey shorts

Children should NOT wear jeans. Trainer boots and heeled fashion shoes are not suitable footwear.

 

PE Kit Expectations

KS2: Both indoor and outdoor PE kit should be in school on a Monday for the whole week, unless otherwise stated by the class teacher. PE kit should be washed regularly during the half term, as appropriate (i.e. this may be weekly, fortnightly or half-termly)Both indoor and outdoor PE kit should brought into school every Monday and stay in school for the week (going home on a Friday), unless otherwise stated by the class teacher.

EYFS/KS1: Both indoor and outdoor (outdoor for KS1 only) PE kit should brought into school at the start of each half term and stay in school for the full half term (going home on the last day of half term), unless otherwise stated by the class teacher.

All swimming kits, including towels, should be taken home on the day of swimming to be washed ready for the next session.

PE is a statutory part of your child’s education. In order for them to participate, it is vital that they have their PE kits in school at all times - particularly as some PE lessons may need to be rearranged during the week. Please be aware that your child may be asked to wear spare kit if they are missing items.

Indoor PE Kit (all years) is:

- White plain PE t-shirt
- Green plain PE shorts
- Black plain pumps

All kit must be clearly named.

The Outdoor PE Kit (KS1 and KS2 only) is:

- White plain PE t-shirt
- Green plain PE shorts (for warmer weather)
- Dark, plain jogging bottoms / sports leggings with minimal branding (no 'fashion' leggings please)
- Dark, plain full length hoodie / sports sweatshirt with minimal branding
- Spare pair of socks

All kit must be clearly named.

Swimming (all years):

- Swimming costume / trunks (please ensure no loose fitting clothing)
- Swimming cap
- Goggles
- Towel

All kit must be clearly named.

Jewellery/ accessories

- Mid-long hair must be tied back with a plain hair bobble/band. Only soft, fabric headbands may be worn.
- Tape/plasters must be used (provided from home) over any ear piercings that are unable to be removed.

KS2: Fitness trackers (non-cellular and of minimal value) may be worn for non-contact activities, as deemed appropriate by the teacher. No other jewellery or accessories are permitted for health and safety reasons. 

Please ensure that all items (including shoes) are fully and clearly labelled.
