Liverpool's Albert Dock

Yesterday Year 6 visited the Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool to find out more about the tragic history of the Titanic.  We had a great day out and found out some amazing facts.  In particular we enjoyed a workshop with Emily, a 'survivor' from the shipwreck.  She took us through the events of April 14th stage by stage which allowed us to understand the chronology of the day.  Later on we had a look around a special exhibition and even saw some objects which were salvaged from the sea bed.  To find out more about the museum, some of the exhibits on display and links between the Titanic and Liverpool take a look at the website below:
