Watercolour Wave Paintings

We explored the painting "The Great Wave" by Katsushika Hokusai.

We used watercolours and different painting techniques to create our own wave paintings. We learned that sometimes painting the surface of the paper in water first gives a pale wash effect.

This week we have also explored our Wonderful World by finding out about human and phsical features. We looked at different landmarks around the world.
