Don't forget that Thursday 1st March is World Book Day!
Homework this week is linked to World Book Day. Create a fact file on your favourite author. What books have they written? Why do you like them? What characters appear in their books? What can you find out about their life? How long have they been writing books?

On Thursday you can come to school dressed as your favourite book character and bring in an old book that you would like to swap in our 'Whitehouse Common Book Swap Shop'

I am from New York and my teacher read my class this great book called 'Little Red Cowboy Hat' If my class had World Book Day I would dress up as little red cowboy hat. Little Red Cowboy Hat is a diffrent version of Little Red Riding Hood. What did your class dress up as?
