Celebrating Spanish
Celebrating Spanish at Whitehouse Common
Spanish is celebrated in many ways:
Pupils receive regularly praise, house points and stickers. They are also recognised in special assemblies where Señora Stevens and/or the Language Leaders award certificates to pupils who have demonstrated good language learning skills.
Work is tweeted with the hashtag #WHCSpanish and #WHCLanguages. These tweets are collated in a Wakelet.
Some of our best work is displayed on the walls but online on a Padlet.
Pupil work is also used as examples of good practise 1. To subsequent year groups and 2. in presentations on primary language learning given by Señora Stevens. Work is also regularly submitted to Writeway, a magazine celebrating the writing that primary children do in their language lessons.
