Scholastic Book Fair
Wed 14 May 2025We are delighted to inform you that the Travelling Book Fair will once again be visiting our school. Parents, carers and children can visit the Fair between 3pm and 4pm on Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd May 2025. Where possible, children will be given the opportunity to visit the fair to browse the books during their weekly library session that week.
Please see the leaflet attached with some examples of books available: prices start from as little as £2.99 so there is sure to be a book for everyone!
Payment can be made in the following ways:
- Using the card reader on the day in the library
- Online at home using the link www.bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/pay If your child brings home a Wish List after visiting the book shelves in their library time, you can pay for these online at home and then return the Wish List to me in the Oaks office and your child will be given the books if they are available in the bookcases, otherwise I will order them for you.
- Buying pre-paid gift vouchers at home using the link www.bookfairs.scholastic.co.uk/gift-vouchers Bring evidence of the purchase of the vouchers with you to the Fair to choose your books or fill in the Wish List your child brings home
- Gift vouchers may especially be of use if your child is in Year 6 and will be visiting the library after school without an adult, as we are unable to take payment in cash.
For every book sold our school earns commission, which we then use to buy books from the book fair or from Scholastic’s website, to be used in our school library and within the classroom to help support our pupils’ learning experiences.
We very much hope to see you there!

Wed 13 Sep 2023The Eco Team are delighted to have achieved the ModeShift STARS Green award for our school. This award recognises the work that we do as a school to help our environment. Some things we've done to achieve this include: taking part in the Walk To School badge scheme, Bikeability, Ditch the Stabilisers and taking part in the Big Walk and Wheel. Well done to all of the children to helping us to gain this award.
